Bambi is just a baby… but her story will break your heart.
At only 4 weeks old, she was taken in by animal control after being seen thrown from a moving car. đź’”
Since then, she’s spent nearly her entire life in a shelter.
She’s now 3 months old, and she finally got her chance at a home… only to be returned a few weeks later because they “didn’t have time for a puppy.”
So we stepped in — and now Bambi is safe with us at Helmstead Holler Haven Animal Rescue.
And despite everything she’s been through…

She is a happy, playful, loving little girl who doesn’t hold onto her past. She loves people, loves to play, and has that bright, sweet energy that makes everyone fall in love with her.

Bambi doesn’t understand why she keeps getting left behind… but we know her perfect family is out there — someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves.
