Tear was rescued from a difficult situation as a very young puppy and was originally only supposed to stay in foster care temporarily. But as time passed and the right home never came along, “temporary” slowly turned into a year and a half.

During that time, Tear has had the chance to heal, grow, and finally learn what safety, stability, and love feel like. And now, she’s ready for the next chapter—a forever family to truly call her own.

• Mixed breed

• 2 years old (DOB 3/8/24)

• Approximately 55 lbs

• Spayed & microchipped

• Current on rabies vaccine

• Crate trained & house trained

• Knows basic commands like “sit” and “come”

• Dog friendly

• Cat friendly

• Very food motivated

• Athletic, playful, and intelligent

Tear is what many people would call a “velcro dog.” She absolutely loves being close to her people—whether she’s curled up beside you on the couch, following you around the house, or simply laying nearby while you go about your day. She forms deep bonds and loves with her whole heart.

She’s playful, smart, and eager to engage with the world around her. Tear enjoys activity and would thrive in a home where she can stretch her legs, go on adventures, and continue learning.
