One of Hunter’s favorite things to do is stand up on those long legs, wrap them around you, and give the sweetest hugs. It’s impossible not to smile when he does it.

This handsome hound mix is about 14–15 months old and is the perfect combination of adventurous and affectionate.

Hunter’s story began on the side of the road, where he and his brother were found starving and simply trying to survive.

Despite his rough start, Hunter has grown into an incredible young dog with so much love to give.

He loves hiking, exploring, and spending time outside, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down. After a day of adventures, he’s perfectly content relaxing inside with his people.

He rides beautifully in the car, has excellent manners, and his recall makes him a wonderful companion for outdoor adventures.

But if you ask us what makes Hunter truly special…

It’s his heart.

He’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s close to the people he loves. Those signature hugs are just his way of reminding you how grateful he is to have someone by his side.
